Create a QR code for any URL

Turn a web address into a scannable QR code so people reach a page without typing a long link. Use it on posters, packaging, business cards, event signs, and printed menus — then test-scan before you print.

About this QR tool

Paste a full https:// address that opens quickly on a phone. Short, stable URLs scan more reliably than long tracking links with many parameters.

For printed materials, aim for a QR at least 25–30 mm (about 2.5–3 cm) square with 5 mm of quiet space around every edge so cameras can lock on the code.

Test-scan from the real viewing distance — posters often need 50–100 cm; table cards work at 25–40 cm. If the scan fails, enlarge the code or raise error correction before a bulk print run.

A static URL code encodes the link itself: it never expires on our side, but it cannot change after printing. If the destination URL changes, download a new PNG or use Dynamic QR when you need to edit after print.

Add a short frame label such as Visit website, Scan for menu, or in Thai ดูเว็บ / สแกนดูเมนู so people know what happens after they scan.

Everything runs in your browser for static codes — we do not store the URL you typed. Prefer high contrast (dark dots on a light background) when printing on glossy stock.

How to create this QR code

Customize colors, frame text, and size; keep strong contrast for print.

  3. 3

Download the PNG and test-scan at the size and distance you will actually use.

  4. 4

Print or laminate only after a successful phone scan.

Frequently asked questions

Will this QR code expire?

No. A static URL QR code continues to work as long as the linked website remains available at the same address.

Can I change the destination later?

Not with a static code after it is printed. Switch to Dynamic mode in the generator or open our Dynamic QR guide if you need an editable short link.

What print size should I use?

Use at least 25–30 mm for the QR itself on handouts and cards. Larger posters need a proportionally larger code so people can scan from farther away.

Do you store the URL I enter?

No for static URL codes. Creation and download run in your browser. Dynamic QR is different — short links are stored so you can edit the destination after sign-in.
